गोवा किल्ला

दापोली तालुक्यातील हर्णे बंदराजवळ 3 किल्ल्यांचा समूह आहे. कनकदुर्ग, फत्तेगड व गोवा किल्ला. हे किल्ले हर्णे समुद्रातील ‘सुवर्णदुर्ग’ किल्ल्याच्या रक्षणार्थ बांधले गेलेले. त्यातील गोवा किल्ला हा सुमारे सव्वातीन हेक्टर जागेत पसरलेला आहे. किल्ल्याचे मुख्य प्रवेशद्वार समुद्राकडून आहे. त्या समुद्राभिमुख दरवाजाच्या दोन्ही बाजूस आणि  चौथऱ्याच्या तळाशी काही वैशिष्ट्यपूर्ण शिल्प कोरलेली आहेत. १८६२ च्या पाहणीत हा किल्ला व्यवस्थित होता व किल्ल्यावर जुन्या ६९ तोफा होत्या. या किल्ल्यावरून सूर्योदय व सूर्यास्त पाहणे हा तर  एक नयनरम्य विलक्षण अनुभव असतो.

About Goa Fort : 

The Harnai port at Dapoli taluka has a group of 3 forts namely, Kanakadurga, Fateh Gadh and Goa Fort. There is no proper information about who built these forts, but it is known for sure that these forts were built to strategically support and protect the main Suvarnadurg fort. Among these 3 forts, the Goa fort spreads in a surface area of three and a quarter hectors. The fort is surrounded by sea on the western and northern sides. The fort has a natural high rise at the southern part. One can find remains of structures on this high rise. You can catch an astonishing sight of the Suvarnadurg fort from here. Goa fort is nearby Suvarnadurg and one should definitely visit this fort in Dapoli
